Bob Treseler joins Military Bowl® presented by Northrop Grumman team as Director of Development & Sponsorships

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Military Bowl® President & Executive Director Steve Beck announced today that Bob Treseler of Treseler Marketing & Business Development has rejoined the Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman team as Director of Development & Sponsorships.

Treseler brings an array of experience to the bowl, including two years of service with what was then known as the EagleBank Bowl. Treseler was in charge of sponsorships and development in the game’s first two years. In a short run up prior to the 2008 game, he helped secure 22 sponsors. Given more time to promote the game, he then tripled the number of sponsors for the 2009 game.

More recently, Treseler was responsible for creating and then executing a sponsorship plan for Star-Spangled 200, the non-profit entity that supported the fundraising goals of the Maryland War of 1812 Bicentennial Commission. At the largest event in Maryland history, in 2012 the Maryland War of 1812 Commission and the U.S. Navy welcomed 1.5 million people to Baltimore to launch a three-year commemoration of the Star-Spangled Banner. The event generated 402 million impressions and $166 million in economic impact.

“Given Bob’s experience and his expertise in navigating the regional market, we anticipate that he will help us continue to strengthen the brand of the Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman,” Beck said. “Our game continues to grow and the opportunity to add Bob to our team was one that not could be passed up.”
