Congratulations to three Military Bowl® alumni selected in the 2014 NFL Draft

Congratulations to three Military Bowl®  alumni selected in this past weekend’s NFL Draft. San Jose State cornerback Bené  Benwikere was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the fifth round with the 148th pick. His Spartan teammate, quarterback David Fales, was selected by the Chicago Bears in the sixth round with the 183rd pick. Fales was the 2012 Military Bowl MVP. Marshall offensive tackle Garrett Scott, 2013 Military Bowl alumni, was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the sixth round with the 199th pick.

Maryland cornerback Dexter McDougle, unable to play in the 2010 and 2013 Military Bowls due to injury, was selected by the New York Jets in the third round with the 80th pick.
