FIDELITY FIRST NAMED TITLE SPONSOR OF MILITARY BOWL PARADE

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman, benefiting the USO, announced today that Fidelity First has been named title sponsor of the Military Bowl Parade on Tuesday, Dec. 27.

The Military Bowl Parade brought to you by Fidelity First, which is once again headlined by the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales, begins at 10:30 a.m. ET at City Dock in downtown Annapolis.

As has become customary, a color guard will step off from City Dock, followed by the Clydesdales, musical groups, civic organizations, youth clubs and military-themed groups, as well as the mascots, cheerleaders and marching bands from both of the universities participating in the Military Bowl. Also featured in the parade will be several recipients of the Medal of Honor, the nation’s highest military honor, presented for personal acts of valor above and beyond the call of duty.

The parade makes its way up Main Street, around Church Circle and out Rowe Boulevard to finish adjacent to Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Simultaneously, the Official Military Bowl Tailgate begins in the Blue Lot on the west side of the stadium. Admission is free to both the parade and the tailgate.

“Having the Budweiser Clydesdales lead the Parade has become a Military Bowl tradition,” Military Bowl President & Executive Director Steve Beck said. “We look forward to another terrific gameday with fans enjoying events throughout the day. Special thanks go out to everyone who helps make this happen, especially those at Katcef Brothers, Inc., the City of Annapolis and Fidelity First.”

“Fidelity First is excited to become a part of this tradition and help make it possible for so many people to enjoy the parade,” Fidelity First Vice President Dan Eubanks said. “Being a part of the community is important for Fidelity First and this is one more way that we can show our support not only for the community, but also for our nation’s service members who put so much on the line each day.”
