MILITARY BOWL FOUNDATION COLLABORATES WITH RED HAT

The Military Bowl Foundation proudly announces that Red Hat, the world’s leading provider of enterprise open source solutions, is sponsoring the National Capital Region’s college football postseason bowl game.

As part of the sponsorship, the “Red Hat Red Zone” will be featured every time a team advances inside the opponent’s 20-yard line during the 2021 Military Bowl presented by Peraton, benefiting the USO.

“Red Hat is pleased to support the important mission of the Military Bowl Foundation and we look forward to honoring service members during the 2021 Military Bowl,” said Mike Byrd, Vice President, Public Sector Channel Sales, Red Hat.

This year’s Military Bowl presented by Peraton, benefiting the USO, will be held on Monday, December 27, kicking off at 2:30 p.m. ET and televised on ESPN. Tickets are on sale now. The game once again will match teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference and the American Athletic Conference. Proceeds from the Bowl benefit the USO and Patriot Point, the Military Bowl Foundation’s retreat for wounded, ill and injured service members, their families and caregivers.

“Red Hat shares the Military Bowl’s commitment to honoring and supporting the nation’s active-duty and veteran service members,” Military Bowl President & Executive Director Steve Beck said. “We are excited for Red Hat to join our team as we prepare for an outstanding Bowl Week later this month.”
