Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman announces initial 2015 sponsor lineup

WASHINGTON, D.C– The Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman, benefiting the USO, today proudly announced its initial lineup of sponsors for this year’s game on December 28 at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Now in its third year in Annapolis, the National Capital Region’s college football bowl game continues to be supported by partners throughout the area, with many of its sponsors returning from previous years.

The game’s title sponsor, Northrop Grumman, and philanthropic partner, USO, are in their sixth season working with the bowl. Northrop Grumman has extended its sponsorship commitment three additional years through the 2018 game. Sponsorship of the Military Bowl has been a very special and unique opportunity for Northrop Grumman to support the work of the USO.

The Naval Academy Athletic Association also returns as the hosting sponsor of the game. Events DC continues its support as the bowl’s Founding Partner.

Military Bowl Five-Star sponsors include Marriott International; Microsoft; and NewDay USA.

The JW Marriott Washington, DC; Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown Hotel; and The Mayflower Hotel, Autograph Collection serve as official hotels for the teams, bands and fans.

Microsoft once again will be providing player gifts for both of the participating teams.

One of the nation’s leading VA lenders and a 2014 recipient of the Mortgage Banker’s Hall of Honor for their work in assisting our nation’s veterans and their families, NewDay USA is once again sponsoring the pregame Medal of Honor reception.

Four-Star sponsors include Under Armour, as well as new sponsor 3M.

Three-Star sponsors include Northrop Grumman Federal Credit Union, which has also been a partner since the Bowl’s first year; Katcef Brothers, Inc.-BudweiserMaryland Department of Commerce; Maryland Live! Casino; Navy Federal Credit Union; and Shapiro, Lifschitz & Schram. New sponsor Fortinet rounds out the Three-star group.

Supporting sponsor Capital Bank, N.A. also is the title sponsor of the DC Touchdown Club. Mercedes-Benz of Annapolis and WRNR serve as supporting partners of the Military Bowl Parade.
