Leading global partner for innovative design and manufacturing
shares the Bowl’s mission of honoring and supporting service members.

The Military Bowl presented by Peraton, benefiting the USO, proudly announces that MTI has entered a partnership with the National Capital Region’s college football postseason bowl game.

A wholly owned operating company within the Steel Partners (NYSE: SPLP) family of companies, MTI has grown through the years to become a trusted global partner for innovative design and manufacturing of custom, precision motion-control products and solutions.

As part of the partnership, MTI is supporting the Bowl’s Tickets for Troops program, providing complimentary tickets for active-duty and veteran service members, and also will sponsor a veteran organization’s retreat at Patriot Point, the Military Bowl Foundation’s retreat for wounded, ill and injured service members, their families and caregivers.

“We are delighted to support the Military Bowl’s mission to honor and support our nation’s active-duty, retired and wounded service members, their families and caregivers,” MTI President Rory J. Yanchek said. “At MTI, giving back is part of our core values, and the Military Bowl’s purpose aligns with ours.”

This year’s Military Bowl presented by Peraton, benefiting the USO, will be held on Monday, December 27, kicking off at 2:30 p.m. ET and televised on ESPN. Tickets go on sale November 1. The game once again will match teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference and the American Athletic Conference. Proceeds from the Bowl benefit the USO and Patriot Point, the Military Bowl Foundation’s retreat for wounded, ill and injured service members, their families and caregivers.

“The support of businesses such as MTI allows the Military Bowl to positively impact so many of our nation’s service members,” Military Bowl Foundation President & Executive Director Steve Beck said. “By becoming a part of Tickets for Troops and sponsoring a retreat at Patriot Point, MTI is certainly demonstrating that it shares the Military Bowl’s commitment to honoring those who serve our nation so valiantly.”
