The Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman has provided significant financial support to USO-Metro since its official charitable partnership began in 2010.  In addition to its financial contribution, the Military Bowl provides thousands of complimentary tickets to military members and their families to attend the football game in Annapolis, Md.

“The Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman is a great partner and supporter of USO-Metro, our troops and their families,” said Elaine Rogers, president and CEO of USO-Metro.  “The funds provided by the Military Bowl help fund critical programs and services those we serve throughout the region.  The free tickets and special activities the Military Bowl provides during gameday go straight to the heart of our mission to lift the spirits of our troops and their families.”

The Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman will be recognized at USO-Metro’s Annual Stars and Stripes Benefit for the Troops, an annual fundraiser that brings together USO-Metro supporters, top executives from the local business community, and wounded heroes from the area military hospitals in a fun and glitzy networking event.

This year’s Stars and Stripes theme is “USO Canteens” which will highlight USO-Metro’s role in supporting troops, their families, wounded, ill and injured service members and their caregivers over the past several decades.
