2016 Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman Tickets on Sale Now! ACC vs. American
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Tickets are now on sale for the 2016 Military Bowl® presented by Northrop Grumman, benefiting the USO, a military support organization. Starting at $25, tickets can be purchased online here or by calling 888-841-2787.
This year’s Military Bowl once again will match representatives from the Atlantic Coast Conference and the American Athletic Conference. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Dec. 27 at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. The game will be televised on ESPN.
“Since moving to Annapolis in 2013, the Military Bowl has been extremely successful, showcasing top regional matchups,” Military Bowl President & Executive Director Steve Beck said. “Our past two games have drawn capacity crowds and we look forward to another great matchup and exciting Bowl Week in Washington and Annapolis.”
For the seventh consecutive bowl season, the Military Bowl will provide at least $100,000 to the USO and complimentary tickets to service members and their families for the game. Ticket vouchers will be distributed through the USO of Metropolitan Washington-Baltimore in early December. This year’s game will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the USO.

Navy defeated Pittsburgh, 44-28, as the 2015 Military Bowl was played before a crowd of 36,352, the second-largest attendance in the game’s history. According to figures compiled by Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County, the game generated nearly $17 million in direct economic impact and has generated more than $47 million in direct economic impact in the three years it has been held in Annapolis.
