Mr Marchant is the Chairman of BFM Seaward LLC.  He also is a member of the Board of Advisors for Reversal Therapeutics, Inc.  He serves Caldwell Partners  as an Executive Advisor to the Board and CEO Practice.  

 

Prior to his current leadership roles, Mr Marchant served as CEO of the Naval Academy Alumni Association and Foundation for over 13 years.  Prior to his Navy CEO leadership, Mr Marchant served as EVP, CAO and General Counsel of Black Entertainment Television for over a decade,  and was a Partner at Patton Bogg law firm in DC.  He was in the submarine service before transferring to the Naval Reserves in 1984, where he fulfilled numerous assignments in the Naval Reserves Intelligence program and attained the rank of Commander in the Naval Reserves. 

 

Mr Marchant is a life member of the US Naval Academy Alumni Association, and a trustee of the Naval Academy Athletics and Scholarship Foundation.  He is a member  of the Alumni Association of the University of Virginia and UVA Law School.  He serves as Chairman of the Development Committee of the Naval War College Foundation Board and is a member of the Board of Baltimore  Gas and Electric.  He also serves on the Board of the National Sailing Hall of Fame and Museum, the Leadership Council of the Environmental Law Institute,  the  Chesapeake Bay Foundation Board, and the  Baltimore Community Foundation Board.   Mr Marchant holds a BS Degree from the US Naval Academy and earned his JD from the University of Virginia School of Law.
