WORLD-FAMOUS BUDWEISER CLYDESDALES SET FOR THEIR
ANNUAL TRADITION OF LEADING THE MILITARY BOWL PARADE
Parade registration is now open for youth, community and military-themed groups

The Military Bowl Foundation today announced that the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales will continue their annual tradition headlining the gameday Military Bowl Parade from Downtown Annapolis to Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium prior to the 2024 Go Bowling Military Bowl on Saturday, December 28.

This year’s Military Bowl Parade steps off at City Dock at 2 p.m. ET and proceeds through historic downtown along Main Street and West Street en route to the stadium. Registration is now open for groups interested in participating in the parade. Admission to the parade is free.

The 2024 Go Bowling Military Bowl, matching teams from the ACC and the American Athletic Conference, kicks off at 5:45 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on ESPN. Bowl tickets are on sale now. The Military Bowl Parade is one of the highlights of the weekend, attracting a crowd of thousands to the quaint streets of Downtown Annapolis and lining the parade route until culminating adjacent to Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.

The Parade features a wide variety of participants, led by a color guard and including veteran’s groups, youth groups, military-themed groups, youth football teams and more, as well as the marching bands and spirit squads of the participating teams. The Parade also features several Recipients of the Medal of Honor, the nation’s highest military honor presented for personal acts of valor above and beyond the call of duty.

“It is always exciting to see so many enthusiastic groups participate in the Military Bowl Parade and show their support for the nation’s veteran and current service members,” Military Bowl Foundation President & Executive Director Steve Beck said. “It is a great way to start the Go Bowling Military Bowl gameday and certainly provide  an electric atmosphere. We look forward to another terrific parade and welcome both the groups that participate and the spectators who come to watch. Thank you to Katcef Brothers Inc. for their continued partnership and arranging the Clydesdales’ participation.”
