BUDWEISER CLYDESDALES RETURN TO LEAD MILITARY BOWL PARADE

Registration is now open as Parade takes place on a new date with a different route traversing Downtown Annapolis and finishing at the Miracle in Annapolis festival at Maryland Hall

The Military Bowl Foundation announced that the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales will continue their annual tradition headlining the Military Bowl Parade. However, the tradition will have a bit of a different feel — with a different date and a new route.

This year’s Military Bowl Parade will be held on Friday, Dec. 26 – the day before the 2025 Go Bowling Military Bowl — stepping off at 2:30 p.m. on Calvert Street downtown. The parade will head down Northwest Street to Church Circle and then out West Street before concluding at the Miracle in Annapolis festival at Maryland Hall.

The Parade annually features a wide variety of participants, led by a color guard and including veteran’s groups, youth groups, military-themed groups, youth football teams and more, as well as the marching bands and spirit squads of the participating teams. The Parade also features several Recipients of the Medal of Honor, the nation’s highest military honor presented for personal acts of valor above and beyond the call of duty.

Registration is now open for groups interested in participating in the parade.

Admission to the parade is free.

“The Military Bowl Parade is always one of the highlights of Bowl Week!” Military Bowl Foundation President & Executive Director Steve Beck said. “It is always a thrill to see fans flood Downtown Annapolis to watch the Parade elements in all their glory supporting the nation’s current and veteran service members. This slight change in the calendar, holding the Parade the afternoon before the game, lends the opportunity to increase participation and attract even more fans concluding with the Miracle in Annapolis at Maryland Hall. Thank you to Katcef Brothers Inc. for their continued partnership and arranging the Clydesdales’ participation.”
