MILITARY BOWL PRESENTED BY NORTHROP GRUMMAN ANNOUNCES INITIAL SPONSORSHIP LINEUP FOR 2016
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman, benefiting the USO, today proudly announced its initial lineup of sponsors for this year’s game on December 27 at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. The National Capital Region’s college football bowl game, which this year celebrates USO’s 75th anniversary, continues to be supported by many longtime partners throughout the area with several new sponsors coming on board as well.
Title sponsor Northrop Grumman and philanthropic partner USO are in their seventh season working with the Bowl. Sponsoring the Military Bowl provides Northrop Grumman a unique and engaging way to support the work of the USO and its mission to connect service members to family, home and country throughout their service to the nation.
The Naval Academy Athletic Association also returns as the hosting sponsor of the game. Events DC continues its support as the Bowl’s Founding Partner.

This year’s Military Bowl matches No. 23 Temple and Wake Forest. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Dec. 27 at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. The game will be televised on ESPN.
