AAYFA TEAM OF THE WEEK: 11-AND-UNDER GAMBRILLS-ODENTON

The Military Bowl AAYFA Team of the Week is the Gambrills-Odenton Recreation Council 11-and-under team, which upset Cape St. Claire, 26-12, in the Division 2 playoff semifinals.

Quarterback Dominic Erculiani had long touchdown runs on the Wildcats’ first two possessions and running backs TJ Mordecai and Chris Cileman also scored touchdowns. The defense forced two turnovers and special teams recovered a fumble as GORC advanced to Sunday’s championship game against Generals Highway, 4:30 p.m. at Severna Park High School.
