AAYFA TEAM OF THE WEEK: 11-AND-UNDER PANTHERS

This week’s Military Bowl AAYFA Team of the Week is the 11-and-under Panthers, which won a thriller over Andover, 9-6, with their defense taking a shutout into the final minute. “It was a tough, physical football game that was controlled by the offensive line,” assistant coach Bucky Wheeler said. “Andover brought a lot of pressure but our boys handled it well.  It was a tight game and the last second field goal at the end of the half proved to be the difference.”
