AAYFA TEAM OF THE WEEK: 8-and-under South Bowie Sharks

The 8-and-under South Bowie Sharks are the Military Bowl AAYFA Team of the Week after rallying from a 14-point deficit to beat the defending league champion Pasadena Chargers, 18-14. The Sharks scored two touchdowns in the third quarter and got the winning touchdown on a long run in the final four minutes. “Our kids could have folded and I’m most proud they were able to find the energy and effort to finish the game strong against the reigning champions,” said Coach Jesse Marks, a U.S. Army veteran.
