EagleBank Announces Partnership with Washington Freedom and Tailgate Tent Program

The EagleBank Bowl announced today that the Bowl will partner with the Washington Freedom of the Women’s Professional Soccer league to sell group and VIP Experience ticket packages for the game.

The Freedom ticket sales team will work directly with the EagleBank Bowl to create the group and VIP Experience packages and promote advance ticket sales to the game. Other cross-marketing efforts will include grassroots marketing, Freedom player appearances during EagleBank Bowl events and Web and social media promotions. This past season, the Washington Freedom played three doubleheaders at RFK Stadium, site of the EagleBank Bowl.

Along with this partnership, the bowl also announced the EagleBank Bowl Tailgate Tent program. Participants in the Tailgate Tent program receive game tickets, bar and food catering, as well as a reserved and heated tent tailgate space that holds up to 50 individuals. This program, which is available to both corporations and individuals, can be customized to fit any size or budget.

“We are thrilled to have the full resources of the Washington Freedom organization to assist with promoting this year’s game,” says Steve Beck, executive director of the EagleBank Bowl. “Their participation, along with innovative packages such as our Tailgate Tent program, will help further enhance our efforts to maximize attendance for the game and make the EagleBank Bowl the region’s premier bowl game experience.”

“We are excited to partner with the EagleBank Bowl and offer the services of our fully trained professional ticket sales team to help maximize attendance for the game,” says Mark Washo, president and general manager of the Washington Freedom. “Partnering with the EagleBank Bowl is a natural extension of our off-season efforts, as we consider RFK to be our second home stadium. The EagleBank Bowl is a marquee sporting event in the greater Washington, D.C., area, and we are proud to be affiliated.”
