The 19th annual Stone Soul Picnic takes place today at RFK Stadium, and the EagleBank Bowl will be included in the celebration. The music festival, free to the public, will be held until 8 pm at RFK Stadium, featuring entertainers and other activities.
The D.C. Sports and Entertainment Commission (DCSEC) will have a booth in the festival’s sponsor area. Regarding the EagleBank Bowl, there will be information on the game, a ticket raffle, and a location to purchase tickets to the 2009 EagleBank Bowl, as well as 2008 merchandise.
There will also be a photo booth where guests can take pictures with various local mascots until 7 pm. In the photo booth, a video will run that shows highlights from the 2008 EagleBank Bowl and related events. DCSEC street team members will roam the crowds, handing out EagleBank Bowl promotional materials and discounts coupons throughout the day.
This year’s EagleBank Bowl will be held at 4:30 pm on Tuesday, December 29, broadcast live on ESPN from the historic RFK Stadium.
The 2009 EagleBank Bowl will feature a team from the Atlantic Coast Conference against Army or an opponent from Conference USA, should Army not qualify.
