NORTH TEXAS OFFENSIVE LINEMAN JETT DUNCAN NAMED
MILITARY BOWL STEM SCHOLAR-ATHLETE PRESENTED BY BUILDSUBMARINES.COM
University of North Texas offensive lineman Jett Duncan, a junior majoring in kinesiology, has been named a Military Bowl STEM Scholar-Athlete presented by BuildSubmarines.com.
Duncan, who is from The Woodlands, Texas, has a 3.606 grade-point average and last year was named an Academic All-District selection by College Sports Communicators. He is interested in a career in physical therapy.
“Jett is an exceptional student who has always valued his education as his top priority,” academic advisor Jill Abbott said. “He has received glowing remarks from his instructors and other individuals he has sought to help him achieve excellence in his academic endeavors. While a student-athlete at UNT, Jett has successfully maintained his GPA in kinesiology-pre-physical therapy while being a standout offensive lineman. Jett is going to be a tremendous asset to a professional school upon graduation.”

The Military Bowl STEM Scholar-Athlete Program honors one football player at each university that is a member of the ACC and the American Athletic Conference – the two conferences that are represented in the Military Bowl college football game. These players are studying STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) subjects and/or aspire to STEM careers.
