The Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman, benefiting the USO of Metropolitan Washington-Baltimore, suggests fans kick off the new year in Annapolis after this year’s Military Bowl on New Year’s Eve.
The 11th annual Military Bowl, featuring teams from the ACC and the American Athletic Conference, kicks off at noon ET on Monday, Dec. 31. Later in the afternoon and at night, the City of Annapolis has a pair of New Year’s Eve celebrations planned:
- There will be family-friendly activities and entertainment by Priddy Music Academy from 3 to 5 p.m. at Weems-Whelan Memorial Field, capped by fireworks at 5:30 p.m. A free shuttle to this event will run from Park Place Annapolis and from Church Circle downtown.
- The party at City Dock begins at 8 p.m. with free live entertainment from Scott Hymes’ Radio City Band and dancing for all ages in the tent at Susan Campbell Park, capped by fireworks at midnight.
Additionally, many Downtown Annapolis restaurants and bars will be holding New Year’s Eve parties and specials to celebrate the night.
