MILITARY BOWL CONTINUES PARTNERSHIP WITH GE
World-leading provider of jet engines, components and systems for commercial and military aircraft has been a supporter of the Bowl since 2014.
The Military Bowl Foundation proudly announces that GE will continue its long-standing partnership with the Military Bowl. GE has been a sponsor of the National Capital Region’s postseason college football bowl game since 2014.
“It is because of corporate partners like GE that the Military Bowl continues to make such an impact supporting and raising awareness for the nation’s service members,” Military Bowl Foundation President & Executive Director Steve Beck said. “We appreciate GE’s continued support of our mission and know the difference it makes for men and women in uniform.”
This year’s Military Bowl presented by Peraton, benefiting the USO, will be held on Monday, December 27, kicking off at 2:30 p.m. ET and televised on ESPN. Tickets go on sale November 1. The game once again will match teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference and the American Athletic Conference. Proceeds from the Bowl benefit the USO and Patriot Point, the Military Bowl Foundation’s 294-acre retreat for wounded, ill and injured service members, their families and caregivers.
“GE remains committed to honoring and supporting the nation’s military,” said Sam Angelella, GE Vice President of Washington Operations. “The Military Bowl provides a wonderful opportunity to show our gratitude for service members. GE appreciates everything that service members do for our country.”
