MILITARY BOWL FOUNDATION AND POSITIVE CHOICES INC. TEAM UP FOR 18th ANNUAL YOUTH FOOTBALL CLINIC

The Military Bowl Foundation and Positive Choices Inc. once again are teaming up to host the 18th annual Youth Football Clinic on Saturday, July 2 at Deanwood Recreation Center in Northeast Washington.

The Clinic, which starts at 9 a.m., is open to students in first through eighth grades. Registration is free.

Participants will receive expert training from certified coaches, NFL players and professional athletes focusing on a variety of skills from tackling and blocking to nutrition and conditioning.

The Clinic will be led by Positive Choices CEO Aazaar Abdul-Rahim, who is also the assistant head coach and defensive backs coach at Boston College.

Among the NFL players scheduled to attend are Chase Young and Jaret Patterson of the Washington Commanders, Yannick Ngakoue and Nick Cross of the Indianapolis Colts, Zion Johnson of the Los Angeles Chargers, Marcus Allen of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Eddie Goldman of the Chicago Bears, Teez Tabor of the Atlanta Falcons, Jermaine Carter of the Kansas City Chiefs, Zach Paschal of the Philadelphia Eagles and Derwin Gray of the Tennessee Titans.

“It is always exciting to watch the Youth Football Clinic participants take the field and learn from some of the best coaches and players in the sport,” Military Bowl Foundation President & Executive Director Steve Beck said. “We are honored to work with Positive Choices and present this terrific opportunity for local youths.”
